Our program activities are based on the themes chosen for each session. A detailed theme program is found on the sessions page. All activities follow American Camp Association guidelines.
The day program begins at 9:30am and ends at 3:30pm. The program is designed to adjust and change depending on the campers interests and abilities. Campers swim everyday at their scheduled time with their group and are to bring their lunch, water bottle, snacks and swim clothes daily. Our core areas of camp program include:
Outdoor Living Skills (OLS)
Outdoor living skills are a core area of our program. Campers will learn abut fires and fire safety, shelter outsoors including A-frame and debris huts, rope and knife craft includings styles and safety, maps and compasses, tracking and much more. OLS will encourage campers to feel comfortable in the outdoors and explore nature and nature conservation.
Overnight
The Overnight camp out is a highlight of each session. Campers stay overnight in under the stars, we provide meals ( always vegetarian alternative), and tents. Campers can bring their own tents and snacks. Special activities are planned including Capture the Flag, Campfire, Songs and Skits. please visit the Overnight page for more details.
Swimming
Recreational swimming and beginning instruction by our Red Cross Qualified Water Safety Instructor & Certified Lifeguards. Campers can swim everyday with their groups at their scheduled time. Swim clothes should be taken and laundered at the end of week.
Ropes Course
Course that strengthens muscles and develops self confidence. Campers get to tree to tree by crossing rope bridges, swinging on tires and more!
Woodworking
We use a complete wood shop with age appropriate projects. Instruction and safe handling of tools such as hammers, saws and sanders.
Arts and Crafts
Various types of crafts are offered during the summer. Traditonal activities in include ceramics, tie-dye, beads, paint, key chains, leather work and theme based activities.
Sports
A large Games Field is used to play traditional sports and also Camp Specialty games and a "Through the Trees" Frisbee Golf course. Instruction and safety handling in Range
Range sports include Archery, BB-gun rifelry and Slingshot paintball.
Drama and Music
Are apart of every session. Each camper can showcase thier talents during our afternoon camp gatherings or during overnights. A club for drama and music will be available for campers interested in a production. 
Nature Exploration
With room to roam on the 150 acre private site, hiking and nature science are a part of everyday activities. Campers will explore the campgrounds learning about the plants and animals native to New Mexico. We will introduce campers to environmental conservation and awareness.
